"[
] During a long conversation [with the team of Sonic
Atelier] I realized that our large workshop is a resonating space just
like the body of a guitar, only bigger. [
] Immediately after the
side elements and later the hanging elements were put up we began feeling
good and everybody was reacting positively. Colleagues from other departments
wondered if we had hired artists to brighten up our gray space. More
and more I noticed that I was experiencing the sound as something more
pleasant, not as resounding and racing around any more. It is much easier
now to hear and understand each other when speaking at a normal level,
and we do not perceive the sound around us as annoying any more. [

International Schmied AG, Linz/Austria

At this industrial manufacturing facility we succeeded in eliminating
droning and reducing peak levels drastically. Beyond this, good conditions
for aural orientation/localisation and a colourful, transparent atmosphere
were created, thus enhancing the quality and functionality of this production
space.
