Here we investigated the cause of heavy low-frequency noise transmissions (25Hz) and vibrations that strongly affected other parts of the large building, despite existing constructive measures. The main cause, as we found out, were complex room resonances which we diminished by adding specific architectonic elements in the room, thus succeeding in reducing the level of low frequency emissions and vibrations in adjacent rooms by a factor of over 100.
